Jacopo Epifanio is a PhD student in the NTSA group at UPF, Barcelona, and is currently visiting the Eissa Lab at the University of Colorado Anschutz. With a background in theoretical physics, his research lies at the interface between nonlinear dynamics, computational neuroscience, and machine learning. His current work combines driven chimera-state models, EEG analysis in epilepsy, and recurrent neural networks trained on latent-inference tasks, with the broader aim of linking dynamical mechanisms, behaviour, and neural activity.
